PADI Open Water Certification can be completed in just 3 days -- consecutively or spread-out over a couple of weeks -- following completion of the home study portion of your course.

For private students, confined water sessions may be completed right in your own pool (if it's deep enough), or a convenient location can be provided in Ft Lauderdale or Pompano Beach. Once pool work and academics are complete, we'll finish your training with four ocean dives. Cost is $425 per person (2 persons minimum), plus books and basic gear (mask, snorkel, fins, weight belt and wet suit). Discounts are available for groups of 4-6.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving (commonly known as a "resort course") is an experience program that can be credited toward Open Water certification. An academic introduction to scuba diving is presented dockside, after which your instructor takes you on two guided dives off a boat. Cost is $225 per person (2 persons minimum), including all rental gear and boat fees.
