During summer months the ocean off south Florida is as warm and clear as the Caribbean -- but a lot easier and less expensive to reach. With water temps in the 80s and vis better than 60', south Florida's a great place to do your check-out dives, then kick back and enjoy the scenery. And in the winter, at its coldest, our waters rarely dip below 72-degrees.
Referral certification dives are $245 per person (2 persons minimum) for 4 dives total (2 from beach, 2 from boat), including boat fees and all tanks. Rental gear is extra, as is PADI or NAUI registration fee upon successful completion of your dives (unless already provided by your referring shop). Plan on 2 days for your dives, a third before flying home -- a week if you really want a good time!
NOTE: Referral students must provide proof of successful completion of academic and pool work, including a copy of their final exam.
